A level notes

 

Follow the links to pages with study notes on the unit of your choice. At the moment, notes are only up for AQA Unit 1 and 2, but most of units 4 and 5 should follow shortly. (AQA Units 3 and 6 are practical units and thus have no notes.)

AQA Unit 1 is titled "Electricity and Quantum Phenomena" and covers DC electric circuits, some simple AC electricity and the groundwork for quantum physics.

AQA Unit 2 is titled "Mechanics, materials and waves" and covers kinematics, Newton's laws of motion, moments, some simple material science and wave dynamics.

AQA Unit 2 is titled "Further Mechanics" and covers momentum, capacitors, circular motion, simple harmonic motion and starts to discuss the concept of a field.
